8oz all purpose flour 8oz whole wheat flour 1oz wheat bran 1 tsp baking soda Pinch salt 2T oil ~3/4 pint buttermilk
Mix all dry ingredients. Make well in center. Add oil & most of buttermilk. Mix till it forms a nice dough, adding more buttermilk as needed. Knead lightly and press into a lightly greased & floured 9″ round pan. Mark a cross on top of bread & bake in 425 F oven for 40 mins.
*** you can substitute oat flour for the all purpose flour. If you do this add 1.5 tsp baking soda.
