The workshop was an amazing success. We had several friends, neighbors and family members in the audience. There were lots of people who read about the event in the newspaper too. Sanford Strong was dynamic, informative and breath taking. My neighbor sitting next to me gasped several times and said making a plan for her families’ safety would be a weekend priority. Mr. Strong used videos from America’s Most Wanted to illustrate his message. He implored the audience to act. The first 5-10 seconds are crucial when confronted by a violent criminal. If confronted by an active shooter in a public place, attack or flee. If you wait for the “right time” you may not make it out alive. Don’t comply with their demands.
When attacked in a possible rape, assault or kidnapping situation, scream, fight and resist. Mr. Strong stated several times that a finger to an assailant’s eye was an excellent defensive move. If attacked in your home, yell “Intruder” or whatever code word your family comes up with. Then your kids know to escape from the house through a window or a door if possible. They should scream loudly as they run to a neighbor’s home. It may seem a bit scary having this conversation with your children. Reassure them that it will probably never happen but its good to have a plan. You can compare this plan to a fire safety drill they have at school.
I would highly recommend seeing Mr. Strong speak in person. His book and DVD are excellent guides in preparing your mind for an attack. We had several 6&6 followers who couldn’t make the workshop but really wanted to hear him speak. We may be able to talk him into another workshop in 2014, so stay tuned!
Mr. Cramar, The Wheatgrass Man, is unbelievably passionate about health and using wheat grass to live your best life. If you’ve seen him around town, he is usually clad in green pants, green shirt and a huge smile. He started his presentation describing his early adult years as a bartender living an unhealthy lifestyle. He attended The Optimum Health Institute for a 6 week cleansing program. It changed his life. He started his mega “grass business” by growing a flat of wheat grass for himself. A friend and a friends’ friend wanted one too. Now Mr. Cramar grows and distributes 1000 flats of wheatgrass a month. He is working on writing a book about his experiences and will include a guide on healthy living through whole, organic, living foods. His excitement for life, health through nutrition and making positive changes is contagious. If you see him around Temecula, stop and say hello. We are hoping to incorporate Mr. Cramar’s wheatgrass into future workshops.

It will be called, “Beautiful From the Inside Out.” A well-known Temecula esthetician will speak and provide a demonstration on getting beautiful skin. We’ll shape up your body too! You’ll have to bring workout gear because 6&6 is running a Beach Body Workout. You don’t want to miss it!!
